KFP Architects specializes in Bank Building Programs and has completed over 400 Bank projects throughout the Northeast Region. Projects have included both Main and Branch Office facilities, Operation Centers, Drive-Up Facilities & ATM Kiosk installations consisting of new construction, building additions, comprehensive renovations, modernization, rehabilitation and historic preservation, and handicap accessibility improvements.

The services we offer our clients are extensive and include complete project management and turnkey project delivery:

  • Site Locator - Our team of real estate professionals are experts at identifying ideal site locations that maximize visibility and access for optimum facility performance. There is no cost for this service to the bank.
  • Site Evaluations & Feasibility Studies - Review of current sites to be expanded or proposed sites to be acquired for new facilities. Review of Zoning Regulations and Environmental Issues relative to permitting. Soil Analysis for suitability of septic systems and building structures.
  • Building Needs Assessments - Review of existing facilities for feasibility of renovation and/or expansion and compliance with building codes including handicap accessibility; review of exterior envelope - Roof, Walls, Windows, Foundations; Interior Building Component & Systems - Finishes, Electrical, Mechanical/Plumbing & Fire Protection Systems.
  • Programming - Review of space utilization and space needs. Determination of square footage requirements.
  • Site & Building Design - Development of Design Drawings consisting of Site Plan, Floor Plan(s) and Building Elevations depicting the project to be implemented.
  • Presentations - Colored presentation drawings, renderings and scale models for presentation to the bank's Board of Directors; local authorities having jurisdiction over the project and public promotions.
  • Project Budgeting - Develop complete project costs including property acquisition; Design & Engineering; Permitting; Site Development & Building Construction; Bank Equipment & Furnishings.
  • Construction Documents - Preparation of Plans & Specifications identifying the work of all trades of the construction project.
  • Construction Phase - Implementation of your plan to the final completion of your construction project. We can work with your construction resources or ours (through our affiliated construction management company).
  • Equipment & Furnishings - Assist in the selection and procurement of Bank Equipment and Telecommunication Systems; Bank Furnishings & Décor.
  • Interior Design & Merchandizing - Interior décor and furnishings are selected to complement the architectural theme for a pleasant, well thought out banking experience. Appropriate interior design solutions combined with carefully placed signage can produce optimized sales results.
  • Leasing - An optional building development approach which is designed to minimize the banks capital investment into "bricks and mortar" bank installations. Members of the Bank Building Design Group and KFP Properties shall develop site locations and lease them to the bank (with your bank's financing).
